Laser Marking
A specialist laser alters the molecular structure of the pen surface to create a permanent, etched impression. The result cannot be removed, rubbed off or worn away, even in the harshest production environments.

FULL DETECTABILITY RETAINED
Neither printing nor laser marking affects the metal or x-ray detectability of the pen. The detectable compound is embedded within the material and is unaffected by surface treatments.
FOOD SAFE SOLUTION
Printing inks are food-safe and applied to the exterior barrel only. Laser marking uses no inks or coatings at all, making it particularly suited to high-care and open-product areas.
SUPPORTS BRCGS COMPLIANCE
Sequential numbering and zone-specific marking directly support the accountability and traceability requirements called for under BRCGS Issue 9 and equivalent food safety standards.
PERMANENT FOR THE LIFE OF THE PEN
Laser-marked impressions are permanent and cannot be removed under normal production conditions. Printed markings are similarly durable and resistant to routine cleaning and handling.
